Obituary of Judy Anne Kubias

KUBIAS, Judy (nee Brady) -- With very heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Judy Anne Kubias on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in her 59th year. We're grateful she was able to leave this earth on her own terms, peacefully at home and surrounded by her husband, family and friends. Missing her inconsolably at home are her loving husband, Dusan Kubias, stepchildren Adam (Anna) and Erika Kubias, and fur babies Bailey and Murphy. Judy is the dear daughter-in-law of Daniela "Dana" Kubias and Jaromir Kubias. Predeceased by her parents John Brady (2001) and Suzanne Pelletier (2012) and brother John Brady (2019). Cherished niece of LouAnne (John) Wronski, Cathy Pelletier (Bob Liddycoat), Dan Pelletier (Sue Morin) and Gerry (Alma) Pelletier. Special aunt and mentor to Jacqueline Brady Marsbergen (Jason) and great aunt to her beloved Alex, Isabelle, Lily and Chayse. Judy will be very fondly remembered by countless cousins, on both sides of the family. Precious and special best friend to Lynn Amyotte, and many others. Despite her numerous physical challenges, Judy could always be counted on to offer unconditional love and support to everyone. She had a deep love of family, cooking, camping, and bonfires. The happiest time of her life was when she married her soulmate, Dusan, and their magical honeymoon in Paris. Judy was the real deal, generous, genuine and authentic to the core; and her contagious belly laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thank you to the many compassionate PSWs in the March of Dimes program throughout the years. We're thankful she's now at peace, running freely through the sunflowers and dancing to the Bay City Rollers, without a wheelchair. Arrangements have been entrusted to BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold. At Judy's request, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated towards a GoFundMe project to erect a memorial bench and trees specifically chosen by Judy in her "Happy Place," at Dufferin Islands.
